Dry limestone, cactus and juniper to my left and right as I walk through Colorado Bend State Park toward Gorman Falls. Then I hear the water rush. Steep rock ledge drops me into a deep green ravine with a watery wall of travertine and moss.
If there was EVER a place for elves and water sprites this is it!
